The bill of right says that gaurantees freedom of religon, speech, assemblyand press, and the right of the people to petition the govenment. Protects the rights to beararms. Assures the right not be deprived of '' life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.''guarantees the right to a speedy abnd public trial by impartial jury trail in cases involving the common law (the law establibshed by previous court decitsions). protects against excessive bail, or cruel and unusual punishment. provides that peoples rights are not restricted to thosespecified in the first eight amendments.
